 I have had the Sq foot gardening book for  few years and have only been dreaming of using this tecnique.  We live in Middle Georgia I am not sure of my zone.  I have HOT summers and some freezing in the winter.  I would like to know how to start.  What kind of wood do I use to make the 4x4 sq raised beds?  We have clay here in GA, thus I am planing on making the soil Mel tells us about in the book.  thanks and I am happy to have found this list.
