I posting the recommended list of tomato varieties from all
regions of the country in response to Kim's question.
My apologies if the columns don't line up, but this is a fast cut
and paste job. Weather predictions come from the 1997 Old Farmers
Almanac.
The varieties our experts recommended for the 1997 growing season are
listed below. Most of them are open-pollinated, and many are heirlooms.
Weather predictions for each region are listed in parentheses. An asterisk
after tomato names indicates the best tasting ones according to the experts.
