Every night something has been eating various plants that are in pots on my deck---even in freezing weather when the pots were covered with sheet. There is about an 8-inch space under the deck--between it and the ground. So any sort of critter could nest there. We thought rats, perhaps and bought bait. The bait went, but the plant eating went on. Rabbits were another thought, but our dog travels that deck 10-15 times every night going in and out a dog door. Plus she's a good squirrel killer and watch dog. So we set a trap last night with a motion sensor and a light bulb which would come on when the sensor was triggered. The dog set if off 5 times last night, and then the it was nothing. No plants were eaten. Tonight, the dog is setting it off again, and my husband finds her poking around the pots every time the light goes on. My question--does anyone have a marigold, parsley, Christmas cactus, lettuce, cilantro, daisy and Hens & Chickens eating dog???? Could it be Brandy????? Doreen
