I can tell spring is coming when I start reading posts about slugs. I don't
think there's any good way of disposing of them. If you kill them with salt
after a few days their body just decomposes which is not too great either.
Collecting them in a jar and disposing of them doesn't sound so bad. Maybe
you shouldn't wait until they start to smell but get rid of them immediately.
