I learned from my GARDENS.REC forum that I subscribe to that spraying
a mixture of 50/50 ammonia and water will kill slugs. Make sure you
don't spray the plants though because it will burn the leaves.
I compost my dead slugs and snails. I figure it adds organic matter
to the pile. Or, maybe if you cut them in half to kill them, the
birds will come eat them the next day. I don't know if they will or
not, just a thought.
