I realize this may not be a purely squarefoot question, but it does concern
dwarf trees. :-) (plants created to grow the most fruit in a small space)
I understand from several rosarians that the best thing for gently tying
and staking is pantyhose. (color and style optional ;-) ). Two of the trees
need to be straightend at least 20 degrees and will be fully supported on
one side by the pantyhose. Does anyone have any recommendations concerning
this? Will there be any longterm effects? Should I spread it out along the
trunk or bunch it to provide the least surface area for bugs to hide in?
It's not as if I can trash the crop plant at the end of the season and get
some more next season. :-)
Thanks
