Hi Dot, > OK, thanks, and should I transplant them into larger pots at this time or > wait for more leaves to develope? I'm not to clear on exactly when I should > re-pot. Dot You want to wait until the roots have begun to fill out the container they're in. If you imagine that the root growth is roughly equivelant in mass to the top growth, that is a good guide. When they are approaching this size you can gently pop the soil ball out and take a look - the roots filling the container should hold the soil together. You don't want to have small seedlings in too large a container because the soil will stay wet for too long between waterings, creating anerobic conditions (the roots need air too to be healthy) and an ideal environment for potentially harmful fungii. > Dot Geib Good luck! ____________________ | | | Bob Carter | Kootenay Bay | bcarter@awinc.com | BC, Canada |____________________| Old MacDonald had an botanical real estate tax abatement EIEIO
