Some spray on the leaves won't hurt anything (it's nitrogen), some advise not to apply it to the point of runoff. Some plants' leaves will lighten in color in response to a heavy spray, but that's a temporary solution. It's as deadly as salt on the slugs without being as harmful to plants. Margaret
