     Although I don't have the foggiest notion on the validity of either
of these ideas, I will point out two facts to you. (1) All great ideas
started in a mind that said, "I wonder." (2)  The British are probably,
as a race, the finest gardeners that have ever existed.
     Go for it.  Report back.
