Jeanne and Shawn,

I plant my nasturtiums about a week after the last average frost date.
They do not take well to transplanting, so I direct seed them.  Depending
upon variety, I will plant 1 or 4 per square.  Some of the bushy types do
well at 4 per, others create a full bush and hog most of the square.
