I have a comment on tomato rotation.
No, I do not have research stats on rotation. I have never rotated tomatoes or
potatoes, and I have never had a problem. I do enrich the soil each fall and
spring. I make absolutely sure that as a part of putting the garden to bed any
plant has been fully removed or fully covered with soil. And I mulch
extensively.
Even the heirloom tomatoes which are not resistant to anything (so I've
heard), are healthy and happy.
