That's a tall order for any developer. My software is designed to be a
garden journal, not a seed planner. Although there is a program call 'The
Seeds Program' by CyberNiche software which has the ability to create a
planting schedule. I have never used it so I cannot make any comments as to
its capabilities.
The idea of having a virtual representation of your beds is something I
started working on and then dropped the idea because it didn't tie in well
with the garden journal software I wrote. If there is enough interest then
I'll pick it up again.
Frost Dates, Companion Planting tips are just ideas on the planning table
right now.
The ability to enter specific plant data is already in my software. Each
seed can have up to 32 pages of data entered into the notes section along
with days to germination, days to harvest and days to seed in the designated
fields. This is where I store all of the historical data about the heirloom
seeds I grow.
Expected yields and yield tracking are a bit tricky because yields will vary
from location to location. No two sites are the same. The only way to
calculate this is to have an expected yield field which would give the yield
by each plant (or by each square).
So if the square foot community wants specific software, I'm listening.
