many gardening gurus

What a delightful surprise! Received Tx Gardener and a national one I
recently subscribed to, Gardening How-To. My best friend, Bobette Heaton
operates an 'outdoor' school for our area homeschooling children (Yellow
Rose Crossroads School) and it was featured in Tx Gardener magazine. Both
the article and the photos were done by the 13 yr old homeschoolers! I
spent Saturday afternoon loading my truck with a ton of goat bedding (spent
straw and manure) for them. (I've never seen anyone get excited over manure
before!!)
The author of the article has been requested by Tx Parks & Wildlife magazine
to run a future feature with the article with different photos.
The other surprise is our own Doreen Howard was featured as a columnist in
(national) Gardening How-To magazine. (EXCELLENT companion planting article,
Doreen!)
And, another old time 'guru' I've long admired, Rosalind Creasy also had a
well-written article in the same publication about natural or 'balanced'
gardening without chemicals.
Great work gang!
martha (the garden guru 'groupie'!)
