Re: Cocoa Mulch

Thanks everyone for the cocoa mulch info. If anyone has any further
thoughts, please let me know.

It seems from the other responses that I've received that people in humid
climates seem to have more of a problem with it because of the mildew that
grows on top from the decaying process. The folks from not really humid
climates haven't seemed to had that problem and the response from them was
quite favorable.

Also, only 1 person mentioned a problem with insects that really liked the
mulch. I wonder though if the bugs would have liked any mulch. Did you
have that problem in subsequent years using a different mulch?

This stuff seems to be only available through nursery centers. Home Depot,
WalMart, Target etc. doesn't seem to carry it at least in my area.

Off Topic: Thanks again. Hope the sun is shining on you all, where ever
you are. We're finally dry here for 2 days straight! That's unusual for
us in Laguna this year. We've already had twice the rainfall of normal
here and the rainy season isn't even over yet. Luckily my house isn't mud
sliding like so many are around here, but my roof is leakiing and I have
mold growing all over my ceiling. Yuck! Anyone know how to get rid of it,
please e:mail me privately! People are here today fixing the roof. It's
about time! Boy are the roofers busy right now.
