Hi!,
I'm having trouble with my
punkin(winter squash) and watermelon.
We just ate the one and only watermelon and
there are two butternuts
on the two punkin vines. That's an average of
ummm, 3/4 fruit per vine.
Soon after setting fruit the punkins aborted all
the female flowers left
on the vine and the watermelon sets fruit from
time to time - the fruitlet
turns over and grows and I get excited - and
then it goes squishy and brown.
Why? And should I be pruning the
plants?
Samantha
