onions

I need some advice on starting onions indoors. I bought some green onion 
seeds and I can't seem to find anything about starting them inside. I 
already have the containers and the light but I need to know how much 
light?, do I need to use reflectors? , how much water? , and should I 
use a fan for ventilation? I am fairly new at this so I would appreciate 
the help.
