Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
We live just a little south of you in Kentucky and it grows wild down here.
I was canoeing on the Green River which runs through the Mammoth Cave
National Park and found a lot of it. The ranger that I talked with said that
it is easy to grow anywhere in Kentucky.
At the beginning of the Victory Garden a couple of weeks ago Roger Swain
made the point that bamboo is such a terrific plant because it can be used
for so many things, like staking plants to. I had never thought about that.
It intrigued us and we plan to plant a little plot near our pond to see if
we can grow it.
