Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Greetings!
I've just been getting ready to put in a couple raised beds (4x32+)
and had planned on using treated landscape timbers or possibly railroad
ties. However after reading all the usenet posts and stuff around the
net I figure I probably shouldn't. This doesn't leave many options, the
principle of these appears to be some sort of blocks. Sooo... I'm
looking for advice as to what type of blocks are good, how do you build
your beds with them (mortar, dry stacked etc.) aren't blocks a whole
lot more expensive? Any other options? From what I've seen cedar is
also very expensive. So any help anyone can offer would be greatly
appreciated. The season's closing in fast :-)
Thanks Much!
