Just wondered what they were since they are soooo big!  Some are as fat as
my little finger and over 1/2" long.   The chickens and ducks don't mind
though.  Nice to find them for a winter treat for them.

I find lots of things in the compost (well not many since I moved the big
pile to the chicken yard)  Someone suggested that and they do all the work,
turning, etc.  Of course, you don't get much compost but you sure have happy
chickens!
