We made a frame out of 6ft tall fence posts..the flattish kind with the
wings near the bottom..with the cross-piece at the top being one of those 6ft
tomato stakes all wired together(we used landscape-fabric staples and
pliers)...we then string a nylon trellis netting(available in catalogs or
garden shops) we've had to change the netting 2x in the last 4 years..but it
works great and is readily portable which helps rotating crops.

We use the raised bed frame(wood) and marked it in 1ft increments with small
nails..pounded in almost flat..when we want to check distances we can just put
a string up ..and we can easily take down the string and have no problems with
the larger plant(ie tomatoes and zucchini) fitting.
