Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Patti -- thanks for the info on the 3 Sisters method. I hadn't heard that
about squash deterring raccoons. I'm curious if you've actually had any
experience, or did the people you heard this from have actual experience on
the raccoon-deterral part. Boy, that'd be the best of all possible worlds!
I'd point that the beans help fix nitrogen in the soil, which the corn needs.
BTW, Happy Year 2000, everyone! It's great to get the holidays and the Y2K
thing over with, isn't it? I was out turning compost today and yesterday.
Felt great.
Welcome to the new people on the list. I'm new too, really. Not as new on
the list, but new to gardening of any type, tho I have to say SFG makes the
most sense to me too. Anyway, you'll love the list. The traffic is a little
sporadic, but there are those of us who don't mind that too much. But the
people are terrific, and the advice even more so.
