We have noticed a significant reduction in the production of those Sweet Potato plants that have been planted next to the tomatoes or in beds where tomatoes were grown the year before. Two years ago a bed that stood next to the tomatoes had hardly any sweets next to
tomatoes, the other side so-so and the next bed over had normal production. All were raised the same way and got the same amount of water. Not sure why, but now we keep the two as far apart as possible.
