Re: Getting In The Zone

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

The weather is incredible here. I think the weather guys on the news have
given up thinking we are going to have any sort of winter! It's actually
going to be around 76 degrees here tomorrow. I told Steve I was going to
plant some lettuce and radishes, just for the heck of it, because it's so
pretty. The radishes, lettuce and spinach we just stuck in the ground in
September are still going strong.

We bought a house that was built in a former bottomland area near a river.
The Army Corps of Engineers dammed the river a ways off and so we don't
flood, haven't in 30 years at least. But the soil is known statewide as
being very productive. (The OK. Cooperative Extension Experiment Station is
just a mile behind our house! Field after field of test veggies and such!)
Steve thinks our soil is a tad too sandy, and so we've been augmenting it
with leaves and such.

I have a feeling we're in for a drought too, if it doesn't rain. It's dry
as can be in the garden right now. I may go out and take some digital pics
of our garden and post them on the web, if anyone is interested...
