Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
In mid September I found an overlooked bag of grocery store potatoes that
had started to sprout. I decided to plant them even though I thought it was
too late in the season. I didn't want to put a lot of effort into the
planting as I wasn't very optimistic about getting a lot of new potatoes for
my effort. I planted the potatoes by digging a hole, using a bulb planter
tool, and putting a small potato at the bottom of the hole. I covered the
potato with soil and then continued filling the hole as the potatoes grew.
I was pleasantly surprised with a basket full of new potatoes.
