Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I'll second Elizwelch's experience with potato towers from Gardener's
Supply. I planted two of them last spring and harvested very little. I'm
going back to the row method. I plant one long row down the edge of a 20
ft. X 4 ft bed. In the rest of the bed, I plant other crops like broccoli,
cauliflower, bush squash, lettuce, bush beans and kale. I've always
harvested about 1 lb. per linear foot of potatoes using that method. I
think that works out to about 1 lb. per 1-1/2 square feet.
