Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I just finished a master gardener class, in which we had lengthy
discussions about soil. I had thought that adding sand into the soil
would give it better drainage. According to the Extension Agent (you
might want to check with yours), adding sand isn't the best way to go
because you can never get it mixed in enough to make a difference.
Better yet, add organic material, organic material, and at the risk
of repeating myself again, organic material. Just my 2 cents worth!
