Nice to meet you, I'm originally from Alvin.

It seems all us new people have irritated a few of the old. I want to
take a sec and explain that my original post about the bras on the
trellises was a serious post and although riddled with humor (sorry,
that is just the way I am...) I would have appreciated some input on the
actual "trellises". I must admit, I enjoyed *most* of the the emailed
jokes.
Trellising I believe is ON TOPIC, isn't it? Since square foot gardening
utilizes vertical growing techniques as part of it's charm, I think my
original post was right on topic. On page 128 of _Square Foot
Gardening_, Mel states in the last sentence "...support the fruit
[cantaloupes] with a sling of cloth or netting". Bras are cloth. Panty
hose are a kind of netting. Sounds on topic to me. Steve and I thought
it would be a hoot, but Heaven forbid we should actually laugh in our
square foot garden.
I unsubscribing for a while.
