Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Kim, I'm not quite sure why my name was taken in vain here, but since it
was, let me go on record saying I haven't been irritated by any of the new
people. And I think it'd be a shame if you unsubbed, but that's certainly
your decision to make.
As for what's on and off topic -- to my point of view, just about anything
to do with gardening is on topic. I've been the queen of *technically* off
topic questions, I think, since as a new (and sometimes quite desperate
<g>) gardener I've asked about -- naturally, none of them come to mind --
oh, things like flowers. Don't think I asked any houseplant or fruit tree
questions, but I just as easily could have.
I've always thought that if we limited ourselves rigidly to EXCLUSIVELY Sq
Ft Gardening questions, we'd be limited to what Mel said about this or
that, or how many per square foot.
I've gotten some very nice help from the list, and appreciate that greatly.
I don't usually have much to contribute, but from my experience on other
lists, often asking a question IS contributing, since sometimes others have
the same question or can benefit from the answers.
I can't say I appreciate the irksomeness and irritability I've seen
recently on the list, but that's definitely not been the norm at least for
the time I've been here, a year come February.
I can't help you with anything about trellises, but perhaps if you repeat
your question, someone else can.
