1 per square foot if you pick the cabbage slightly imature
(nicer that way).    1 per 4 square feet if you want the largest 
cabbage you can get.  Instead of going for the largest I 
could get I find I prefer to stagger plant and harvest smaller
(more managable) heads more frequently.
