Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi all,
I just came across this topic (c:
I grow my cabbages for slaws and fresh using 12 inch spacing. I have
gotten 16 nice small cabbages from a 4'X4' bed. My storage cabbages I
grow 18 inches for a bigger firmer cabbage. Usually a Late cabbage will
need more room than a early one. Late Dutch Flathead needs more room than
say Early Jersy Wakefield.
Then there are smaller storage cabbages like stonehead that can take a 12
inch spacing quite well. (c:
Chinese cabbage Pakchoy grows really well with a 6 to 8 inch spacing but
chinese cabbage wongbok needs a bigger spacing of 12 to 18 inches.
