Ron if they are more than 4 ft. why not a log cabin type thing. All you
would need for stacking them would be to use your chain saw to make a place
at each logs end for a piece of 2*4 by fan cutting a notch. Sod laid on top
could fill any spaces just like the original log cabins. I will be looking
into that idea also this year. It should be better than railroad ties which
could still be used to edge my lower side and separate it from the swamp.
They are free so I might as well use them for something instead of just
letting them sit in the woods on the other side of the tracks.
