Fellow gardeners:
I recommend a APS (Accelerated Propogation System)which I bought from
Gardeners Supply online. I was hesitant at first, but am so glad I did.
Excellent germination rates and most seeds germinate in about 1/2 the
time using this system and are very sturdy for transplant. I have used
their germinating mix as well as purchased the same type (soilless) from
local garden supply company.
The web site for the APS is:

or
http://www.gardeners.com/theme_pages/aps.asp?ProdGroupID=14191&DeptPGID=13593&lstCategory=0&lstSort=0&PFImage=1&RecGroupNum=1
We also built a light rack (much less than buying one) from plans I
found on Etera.com (costs about $20 to build plus the shop lights). I
love it! Click on "Building a Light Rack" under Artificial Light
category.

Happy seed starting!
