Dee, I let mine sprawl all over the place and every few days I go lift them
up and let them resettle on the growing mulch out there. When I harvest some
dandelions they pull right up, the chickweed makes a lovely clean growing
mulch for the tomatoes to lie on. I could never trellis this many tomato
plants, but the fruit is very healthy and clean.
