Social opportunity in Wash. DC next Wed (Jan. 7)

Hi, Square Footers.  The Northeastern regional meeting of the Weed Science
Society of America is taking place next week at the Capital Hilton (16th
Street and K, Northwest, in the District).  Several posters active on the
Agrisynergy List (which I joined via an invitation posted here on SQFT) are
coming to town for that meeting.  So I'm pulling together a no-host dinner
to get us all together face to face.

This event is open to anybody on the MGarden, Square Foot, and Agrisynergy
Lists.  I'm expecting at least 6 people, but the evening would be more fun
with a bigger crowd.

We'll be yakking about compost and designing reliable garden experiments and
what's in the new catalogs and what to do about Mile-a-Minute and other
common weeds.

We will very likely eat at one of the 2 restaurants right in the hotel.  So
let's meet in the lobby at

6:45 PM
Wed., January 7

Please drop me a private e-note if you're planning to attend so I can give
the restaurant a moderately reliable number for the res.
