Gosh...what a nice thing to say - shucks, ma'am...now, how 'bout this as
an idea...for anyone...

I approached my local Super K-Mart when I found out they sometimes get
their grapes in real nice styrofoam boxes. They measure about 2ft x
18-inches, and are approximately 6-8 inches deep with top on. Both top
and bottom have vents to allow for air circulation. Anyhow, after I
acquired about 5 of these little jewels, I took the tops off (they fit
the bottom very snugly), and trimmed the tops out from around the upper
frame, and then had some self-adhesive clear plastic carpet runner I
covered the cut-out tops with. Viola! A mini-greenhouse for little
cost. I can put 48 2-1/2' peat pots in in, or, just fill in the pottom
with about 3-4 inches of soil and plant seeds directly into the soil.

Hope I explained this all good enough - if not, please email me for more
specific directions...hope it helps someone - I would imagine thse boxes
are available through any produce department of major supermarkets.

Finally got my raised bed completed last week, and the missus and I got
a few things in already - just enough to keep us occupied...

Take care...

Larry
