I grow Gai Lon "Oriental Flower Broccoli" from Shepherd's seeds, I plant it one or 2 to a square. I have some overwintering in the garden right now at one per square. Nice winter addition to salads and stir fry. I sometimes space greens (the gai-lon, kale, collards, mustard) 6 - 8 inches apart if I know I will be using them up quickly, otherwise I give them a full square.

Does anyone have suggestions for planting
Pak Choi (Bok Choi) or Gai Laan (Kai Laan) otherwise
known as Chinese Kale or Chinese Broccoli??
I thought 4 per square for choi and one per square for Kai Laan
but perhaps they could be closer than that. Any experience?
Samantha
