Re: Paste tomato and corn questions

'Mama Mia' is absolutely terrific but very hard to find. Loads of
blemish-free fruit on very productive vines. Basically unfazed by diseases,
too.

Paste tomatoes tend to be listed as determinates (ripen all fruit in one big
flush, an obvious advantage for the canneries), but MM doesn't behave that
way at all.

Richard went on to query us about corn, but I'll bow out now as I've never
had enough room to do justice to a cornpatch. The one year I tried it at a
community plot, we didn't get any rain between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Everything, corn included, was toast by late July.
