Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi all,
I'm having a great time planning this year's sq ft garden, but, I need some
help with squash spacing and/or vertical growing.
Several of the varieties I want to plant are listed as bush
varieties.....which are going to hog alot of room I think. I'm growing the
vining varieties on a vertical trellis, but, what do I do about the bush
varieties. Someone mentioned (about a year ago at chat) growing the bush
varieties vertically too, but I wasn't growing them last year, and I didn't
pay attention to the directions. Can anyone help me with this?
The bush varieties I want to grow are:
Sunburst
Eight Ball or Round de Nice Zuchinni
Whitaker Zucchini
Peter Pan Bush Scallop
Butterstick
Gold Nugget
Sweet Dumpling
If I can't grow these vertically......does anyone know the absolute minimum
spacing I should allow?
Thanks
