Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
My '98 squash bed was 4' X 4' in which I grew a Yellow Crookneck (bush) in
each corner (1' in from each side.) I had 2 Butternut and 2 Blue Hubbard
planted "sort of" around and between the 4 bushes and trained the 4 vine
plants up a 4 1/2' trellis at the North side of the bed.
I ate 2 crooknecks a day for lunch for a very long tome and ate, canned and
dried the sweetest Blue Hubbard that I have ever experienced (they were so
sweet that it was spooky.) one of the Butternut vines produced 2 squashes
for my total Butternut crop, very good but too few!
I hope that my experiences help!!!!
