I built my first square with cinder block last year, and it's the best
one I've had yet.  I topped 2 sides so I have somewhere to sit and put
things down while I'm working (being basically lazy).  The other 2 sides
I left the holes open and plant herbs or flowers.  Works really well and
the only thing I don't like is the color.  I may paint the blocks this
year.
