Jim, your garden sounds happy ... as for chiggers and seed or deer ticks, I
still use clear fingernail polish on my skin wherever there is a chigger (or
a deer tick).  As you know, the chigger (and the deer tick) is inside one's
skins, so the nail polish suffocates them.  Haven't tried the colloidal
silver, but it works fast on mosquito bites.

As for the garden, it is about time to start the fall square foot garden.
Am going to plant watermelon and cantaloupes early next week, probably more
corn.

When will there be pictures of some of your gardens on the internet for us
to see?  ... Nickie
