Dear Trudi Nice to read one of your posts again. I am interested in what
happens to your three sisters plot. My corn is just getting started. I
planted scarlet runner bean two weeks after the corn thinking the corn would
be ahead of the beans. Not. Now I am wondering what to do with the beans
(lol) until the corn can be the poles the beans need to grow on. The squash
is putting up a show of leaves right now.

Everything is just getting going and I am very excited. Vera just rolls here
eyes now when I burst into the house telling her the "callas" have begun to
flower... We are still planting. Whew! Even the carrots are beginning to
look like, well, carrots! Tomorrow we will eat our first homegrown salad of
Redina Red and Simpson Elite loose leaf lettuce. Should be an event.
