Re: what do you make your raised beds from?


I've switched from wood to using rocks for my raised beds.  Got tired of
always replacing the wood.  Our soil in the Arizona desert contains plenty
of large and small rocks so it's easy to get them, but you probably have
them too.  They never rot, are safe, look quite neat, and are easy to
maintain. I just pile them up.

By the way, garden store is wrong: cement blocks last many years.  But I
think they're ugly and rocks are free and look nice.
