Yes, that information is correct. The male blossoms are at the end of a
slender stem and the female blossoms are at the end of a tiny fruit. I do
know that when my squash first started blooming I had all male blossoms
and I just had to wait for some female flowers to bloom. Then the
problem was I didn't have any male flowers to pollinate with!! Someone
else gave me the advice to save the male blossoms from the plant so you
still have them when the female blossoms bloom. I usually strip the
flower part from the male blossom and just use it like a paint brush on the
female blossom.
Good luck!

So far, no answer on the all male blossoms how do you pollinate
question,
but as far as telling the male from female blossoms, the only way I
know is that the male blossom is at the end of a skinny stem, and the
female blossom is at the end of a fatter bulge that eventually becomes
the fruit. Is this correct, SQFT'rs? Anybody out there?
