I have used BT without worrying about consequences to humans because it is
said to only affect the digestive systems of larvae. In view of the late
thread on this list and in view of the genetically modified crops, such as
potato plants carrying their own genetic insecticide (i.e., BT that is
effective on Colorado potato beetle larvae) that the Food and Drug
Administration apparently approves without testing, I'll use that product
even more infrequently. Margaret L
