RE: squash/pumpkin pollination

I planted two varieties of cucumbers and was hoping to save some seeds.
Saturday, I watched in horror as a bumble bee happily buzzed around in these
over here, then flew way across the garden to those over there.  Oh, well.
Hybrids R Us...
