Hi I was just going through my personal filing cabinet and listening to grow 
it a gardener's guide and low and behat he told how his gradmother used to 
keep rabbits away.  Take a large piece of beef liver place it in a 
container(with cover) of hot water(steeping) for an hour or so, strain and 
place in sprayer and spray entire garden(respray after rain).  Also he 
suggests copper wire around to edge of raised beds to prevent slugs and 
snails.
