Lots has been written about the use of EMT (conduit) for trellises, but
always with mention to using a pipe bender to form the top corners.
Home Depot had corner connectors in a number of sizes and styles. One
type had a removable plate at the outside corner, designed for use in
pulling wire through. Without the plate, the connector made a good "T"
for the center support.
DH and I put up the trellis in no time, without the added cost of
renting a pipe bender.
