Watch the "To" and "CC" entries when you hit "reply"

Everyone, PLEASE remember that the list is now set up to reply *to the
list* rather than to the sender.

So you need to remember to send your "one liners" and "welcome to the list"
and "me too" posts via private email to the author.  Generally the easiest
way to do this highlight and copy the author's email address from within
the message when you are reading it, then click reply, then paste the
author's address in the "To" field (on top of and deleting the list
address) of your reply.

Otherwise this list will be flooded with many posts that should have been
sent via private email, and people will be clammoring for a return to the
old list configuration where replies went only to the author by default.
To make it easy to keep the on-topic posts on the list means you have to do
more work to send your private posts privately!  This is called
"netiquette".  You can learn more about netiquette at:
