Write to OG and ask how you get their full bibliography. Read all the
scientific articles they cite. Write to the EPA, and read their stuff. Write
to the wood manufacturers and read their stuff. Form an opinion. Remember
that 50 years from now, your opinion and those of all three groups mentioned
above might change, as more science is done...
Or...do what I do, and play it safe. I use untreated wood, including quarter
split logs, salvaged 2x 10s and pallet wood....stone, old concrete blocks
and pavers (find somebody redoing their patio)...and just plain old nothing,
clay stands up pretty good on its own....
Re pallets, try to get them elsewhere than chemical and atomic energy
transporters, eh? :-)
Frank---he raised his beds up from flatland, hopefully they will feed me
when I get old...:-)
